Welcome, I'm Nicole Moser, an experienced Licensed Massage Therapist located in Loveland, Co. Through my practice, I strive to promote well-being in order to keep the mind, body and spirit healthy.
TREATMENTS
THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE
Most folks "go to" for massage. A therapeutic session aims to relieve chronic pain and muscle tension, increase circulation and reduce stress. A combination of techniques such as deep tissue, myofascial release, and movement will be utilized based on your individual needs. Cupping and Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) may also be incorporated at no additional charge.

BODYWORK
The goal of this treatment is to decrease pain, perceived stiffness, and improve range of motion. This is not your typical massage, at Homebody, a bodywork session is a combination of sports massage, myofascial release, compression and movement. This bodywork can be uncomfortable, and you may experience pressure and discomfort during the session. There is a tendency to experience soreness 1-3 days after a session. This treatment is for those who have a specific problem in a localized area. Come wearing comfortable clothing that you can easily move around in (recommended athletic wear such as shorts/leggings, tank top/sports bra). Be ready to be actively involved in your treatment. You can expect slow releases, lots of movement, cupping and IASTM.

IASTM (INSTRUMENT ASSISTED SOFT TISSUE MOBILIZATION) & CUPPING
IASTM
IASTM is a myofascial intervention which uses specialized stainless-steel instruments to decrease fascial restrictions and scar tissue. It also helps improve circulation and promotes healing.
It is not uncommon to see small red spots of discoloration called petechiae appear on the skin after a treatment. This is a natural response from the body and could last anywhere from 1-7 days.
Cupping
Cupping is a therapeutic technique that utilizes a plastic, silicone or glass cup to create suction on your skin. It increases blood flow, relieves muscle tightness and may help increase flexibility. Mild discoloration may occur and is normal, but is not the goal. You can expect cupping marks to last anywhere from 1-14 days.
It is not uncommon for this type of bodywork to be accompanied by soreness before you experience relief. For this reason, these interventions will not be available to you at your first therapeutic massage appointment. After your initial visit they will become an option for treatment going forward.
